The Finals Dev Comments on Cheater Problem, Reveals Fix Coming Soon

The Finals developer Embark Studios has commented on the recent cheating issues that have been plaguing the new free-to-play shooter and promises that a fix is on the way. In the past few days, the problem has reached a boiling point in the community as fans have even asked The Finals devs to region-lock China since many of the reported cheaters have been using Mandarin names. Of course, this proposed solution isn't one the team at Embark Studios is likely to move forward with, as The Finals' community manager explained that many of these players aren't actually Chinese; rather, these players use Mandarin names so they will be more difficult to report.

Though Starfield has a mixed rating on Steam, with more negative than positive reviews left by its players in the last 30 days, Bethesda's latest sandbox features a few aspects that received near-universal praise at launch, with its ship builder in particular standing tall above the rest. From making original concepts to recreating their favorite starships, Starfield players sunk countless hours into the feature, and while the outpost system isn't as refined by comparison, it still managed to attract the same kind of creativity.
