As the situation with Fntastic and The Day Before continues to evolve, it seems a different game and developer gets caught in the crossfire.

Fntastic, the developer of The Day Before, faced financial failure and closed down shortly after the game's release, leading to overwhelmingly negative reviews.
The studio behind The Day Before, Fntastic, seemed to have re-branded itself when the developer listed for a previous game, The Wild Eight, was changed to Eight Points.
It was later revealed that a different studio took over development of The Wild Eight years ago and changed the developer name to distance itself from Fntastic.
